Beacon Sloop Club’s annual June festival keeps the focus squarely on strawberries, with shortcakes made from local berries, homemade biscuits, and real cream, plus smoothies and chocolate-covered strawberries. The riverfront gathering also includes local food and craft vendors, live music on two solar-powered stages, and environmental displays from the volunteer-run organization.
