Chatham SummerFest has been bringing the village together since 1976, filling Main Street with food trucks, vendors, live music, and family-friendly entertainment. Dessert takes over the gazebo for the fourth annual Great Chatham Bake-Off, where homemade sweets will be judged by former Gourmet editor Ruth Reichl, Michelin-starred Four Corners chef David Israelow, and pastry chef Betsy Thorleifson, of now-closed Hudson bakery Nine Cakes. The afternoon concludes with a decidedly less serious pie-eating contest, open to all.
